Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

• Your booking is confirmed only after full or partial payment.
• Any outstanding balance must be cleared before the trip begins.
• Payment options include bank transfer, UPI, credit/debit cards, and online wallets.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

2.1 Cancellation by Traveler

• More than 7 days before departure: Full refund.
• Less than 7 days before departure: No refund.

2.2 Cancellation by UTT

• We reserve the right to cancel a trip with at least 20 days' notice in normal cases.
• In cases of Force Majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, or emergencies), we may cancel at any time.
• Refunds or alternative bookings will be provided, excluding unrecoverable costs (hotel bookings, permits, etc.).

3. Itinerary Changes & Flexibility

• Itineraries may change due to weather, road conditions, transport schedules, or other unforeseen factors.
• We will always strive to inform you in advance and offer suitable alternatives where possible.

4. Health & Fitness Requirements

• Participants must be in good health to undertake treks and tours.
• Travelers above 60 years of age must provide a fitness certificate.
• UTT is not liable for health issues arising during the trip.

5. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is NOT included. We strongly recommend purchasing insurance covering accidents, medical emergencies, cancellations, and loss of belongings.

6. Risks & Responsibilities

• Trekking and adventure travel involve inherent risks (altitude sickness, bad weather, injuries, etc.).
• While UTT prioritizes safety, travelers accept personal responsibility for unforeseen risks.

7. Liability & Limitations

• UTT is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, delays, or cancellations caused by third-party service providers (hotels, transport, airlines, etc.).
• Any personal belongings lost during the trip are not UTT's responsibility.

8. Legal Compliance & Disputes

• All services are governed by the laws of India.
• Any disputes will be settled in the courts of Uttarakhand, India.

9. Intellectual Property & Content

• UTT does not claim ownership of user-contributed content (reviews, testimonials, images, etc.).
