How To Reach Dodital
By Road
From Delhi: Uttarkashi is around 400 km from Delhi. You can drive or take a bus from Delhi to Uttarkashi. The drive takes around 10-12 hours depending on road conditions and traffic.
From Uttarkashi to Dodital: From Uttarkashi, you’ll need to travel to Sangam Chatti, which is about 15 km away. From there, it’s a trek of about 21 km to Dodi tal. The trek is moderate in difficulty and usually takes around 6-7 hours, depending on your pace.
By Train
The nearest railway station to Dodital is in Dehradun. From Dehradun, you can either hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Uttarkashi and then proceed to Dodital as mentioned earlier.
By Air
The nearest airport to Dodital Lake is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is well-connected to major cities like Delhi. From Dehradun, you can proceed by road as mentioned above.
