Kalimath

Kalimath is a sacred Hindu temple located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. It’s situated at an altitude of about 5,400 feet in the Himalayas. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. Kalimath is a significant religious site and is believed to be one of the 108 Shakti Peethas, which are holy abodes of the Hindu goddess.

From Dehradun: Kalimath is roughly 176 km from Dehradun. You can drive or take a bus from Dehradun to Rudraprayag, and then proceed to Kalimath.

From Rishikesh: Rishikesh to Kalimath is around 142 km. You can drive or take a bus from Rishikesh to Rudraprayag, and then proceed to Kalimath.

By Train

The nearest railway station to Kalimath is Rishikesh Railway Station, located around 137 km away. From Rishikesh, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to reach Rudraprayag and then proceed to Kalimath.
