Haridwar

Haridwar is one of the seven holiest cities in Hinduism. The Ganges leaves the mountains here, and devotees gather at Har Ki Pauri for the daily Ganga Aarti at sunset — a powerful and moving ritual. The city is also the traditional starting point for the Char Dham Yatra and a hub for pilgrims and spiritual seekers.

Beyond the ghats, explore temples like Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi (reachable by cable car), and the bustling bazaars. Haridwar is well connected by road and train from Delhi and other major cities.
