Mussoorie

Mussoorie has been a favourite hill station since the British era. The Mall Road, Gun Hill cable car, Kempty Falls, and the views over the Doon Valley and snow peaks make it ideal for a weekend or a longer break. It's about 35 km from Dehradun and well connected to Delhi.

Lal Tibba, Cloud's End, and the Mussoorie Heritage Centre are other highlights. The town gets busy in summer and during holidays — book accommodation in advance. Winter brings occasional snow and a quieter, cosier atmosphere.
