How to Reach Deoriatal

By Air: The nearest airport to Sari Village is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun. From the airport, you can take a taxi or a bus to reach Haridwar or Rishikesh, which are major towns in Uttarakhand. From there, you can either take a bus or hire a taxi to Ukhimath, which is the nearest major town to Sari Village. From Ukhimath, you can further travel by shared jeeps or taxis to Sari Village.

By Train: The nearest railway station to Sari Village is in Haridwar or Rishikesh. From there, you can take a bus or hire a taxi to reach Ukhimath, and then continue your journey to Sari Village as mentioned above.

By Bus: Direct buses to Ukhimath are available from major cities like Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun, and Delhi. From Ukhimath, you can take shared jeeps or taxis to Sari Village.

Once you reach Sari Village, you can begin your trek to Deoriatal. The trek from Sari Village to Deoriatal is around 2.5 to 3 hours and is relatively easy, suitable for beginners as well. The trail passes through dense forests and offers mesmerizing views of the Himalayas.

Route 1 – Sari Village Trek (2.5 km):Begin your enchanting journey with a straightforward 2.5 km trek from Sari Village, the designated base camp. Follow a rocky path that winds its way to the captivating Devariya Tal. Sari Village is conveniently situated on the Ukhimath – Gopeshwar road, in close proximity to Chopta.

Route 2 – Ukhimath Trek (12 km):Alternatively, opt for the Ukhimath trek, a longer route spanning approximately 12 km. This scenic trail meanders through dense forests and picturesque meadows, offering a more immersive experience before reaching the pristine shores of Devariya Tal.
