1.Rishikesh to Joshimath

  • Start your journey from Rishikesh, and the first destination is Joshimath.

  • You can take a bus, hire a taxi, or drive to Joshimath. The journey takes around 9-10 hours, depending on the mode of transportation and road conditions.

  1.  Vishal Badri/ Badrinath Ji  (Joshimath): The distance from Rishikesh to Joshimath is approximately 250 kilometers by road.
  2.  Adi Badri: Adi Badri is around 190 kilometers from Rishikesh by road.
  3.  Vridha Badri: Vridha Badri is located near Joshimath, and the distance from Rishikesh to Joshimath is approximately 250 kilometers.
  4.  Ardha Badri: Ardha Badri is near Animath, and the distance from Rishikesh to Animath is roughly 220 kilometers.
  5.  Dhyan Badri: The distance from Rishikesh to Saldhar (from where you trek to Dhyan Badri) is approximately 170 kilometers by road.

How To Reach Sapt Badri

By Air: The nearest airport to Sapt Badri is the Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, which is approximately 320 kilometers away. From there, you can hire a taxi or use public transportation to reach Chamoli.

By Train: The nearest railway station to Sapt Badri is Rishikesh Railway Station, which is about 296 kilometers away. Rishikesh is well-connected to major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, etc., by train. From Rishikesh, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Chamoli. Another option is to take a train to Haridwar Railway Station, which is also well-connected, and then proceed to Chamoli by taxi or bus.
