Kalimath

Kalimath is a sacred Hindu temple located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. It’s situated at an altitude of about 5,400 feet in the Himalayas. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. Kalimath is a significant religious site and is believed to be one of the 108 Shakti Peethas, which are holy abodes of the Hindu goddess.

Kalimath is a sacred Hindu temple located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. Situated near Ukhimath, Kalimath is dedicated to Goddess Kali, one of the forms of Goddess Durga. It’s considered one of the 108 Siddhpeeths (holy places) in Hindu mythology. The temple holds immense religious significance and attracts devotees throughout the year, especially during the auspicious occasions of Navratri, when it sees a surge in pilgrims seeking blessings.

How to Reach Kalimath Temple 

Kalimath in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand, is a revered temple and a significant pilgrimage site. To reach Kali math:

From Delhi: Rudraprayag is about 400 kilometers from Delhi. You can take a bus or hire a taxi from Delhi to Rudraprayag and then travel to Kali math.
From Rishikesh: Rudraprayag is around 140 kilometers away. Buses and taxis are available from Rishikesh to Rudraprayag.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun, approximately 180 kilometers away from Rudraprayag. From there, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Rudraprayag and further to Kali math.

Rishikesh Railway Station is the closest major railway station. From Rishikesh, you can get buses or taxis to Rudraprayag and then proceed to Kali math.
