Uttarakhand’s Yamuna Valley is a breathtaking location with special significance for Hindus.The Yamuna River, which originates from the Yamunotri Glacier, is regarded as the second-largest tributary of the Ganga. It is about 1,376 km long, and it has several canals in the Indo-Gangetic Plain.From the Yamuna valley, you can see the snow-capped range that includes the Panchachuli Group, Nanda Devi, and Trishuli in breath-taking detail. Located at a height of 3,718 metres above sea level in Uttarakhand’s Yamuna valley, the Gulabi Kantha Trek is an easy to moderate trek.On the route to the Dodital freshwater lake walk is Gulabi Kantha. A diverse variety of flora and wildlife, including wildflowers, deodorant trees, oaks, and a rich carpet of green meadows surround it, providing trekking with the opportunity to see nature’s most breathtaking display.

Itineary

Day 1 : Reach Hanuman Chatti

  • Begin your first day by reaching Hanuman Chatti, which is the base camp of Gulabi Kantha Trek.
  • Start your first day by travelling to Hanuman Chatti, the Gulabi Kantha Trek's base camp.
  • Hanuman Chatti is the starting point of more than seven to eight treks like Fachu Kandi pass, Bali pass trek, etc., and it is also an important part of Char- Dham.
  • You’ll be briefed about the logistics and other important details of the trek, beforehand. After that, you can enjoy the bonfire and an organic meal.
  • To make your vacation even more memorable, you can converse with your travelling companions in humorous and meaningful ways.

Day 2: Trek to Seema Thatch

  • 10 km 3400 Meter
  • Start your second day of the Gulabi Kantha Trek with a delicious breakfast before packing your bags for the ten-kilometer hike to Seema Thatch.
  • While on the adventure, you'll journey through lush forests, a thick blanket of pine and maple leaves, and have the chance to take in some of nature's splendour.
  • Once you reach Kandola (2:00 pm), you’ll be served lunch. You'll continue travelling after eating lunch, and at 4:00 pm you'll arrive in Seema thatch.
  • You’ll also get a chance to enjoy the sunset, and you’ll have dinner at 7 pm.
  • Stay overnight in camp.

Day 3 : Trek to Gulabi Kantha and back

  • 3,789 Meter back to camp (8 km)
  • After eating breakfast on the third day of the tour, you'll start the five-kilometer hike to Gulabi Kantha at 8:00 a.m.
  • Once you reach Gulabi Kantha (around 1 pm), you’ll be served packed lunch.
  • You may travel around the area and take in the spectacular views of the snow-covered mountain ranges, including the Shivalik Mountains, Chaukhamba Peaks, Bandar Poonch Peak, and Kalindi Srikala.
  • Your operator will also explain the ancient Indian myths and how the natives manage to survive in these difficult circumstances.
  • You can also click beautiful pictures if you’re carrying your photo gear to register the memories of this expedition forever in your memory lane.
  • Enjoy dinner at the Seema thatch camp site.
  • Stay overnight in camp.

Day 4 : Move back to Hanuman Chatti

  • 10 km: 4/5 Hours
  • On the fourth day of the Gulabi Kantha Trek, you will leave Seema thatch and travel to Hanuman Chatti.
  • You'll be treated to a delicious lunch at around 1 pm, and at 4:00 pm you'll arrive at Hanuman Chatti, the trek's base camp.
  • You can share the experience of your expedition with your fellow group members and the management, and if you have any pieces of advice, you can let your operator know.
  • By 7 o'clock, you'll have dinner and take in the campfire and relaxing music.

Day 5 : Depart from Hanuman Chatti

  • You will leave Hanuman Chatti for Dehradun on the fifth day of the Gulabi Kantha Trek, bringing wonderful memories with you.
  • Our team will then deliver you to the train station, where you can board a train to go back to your home town.
  • The memories of this trip will remain deeply imprinted in your memory lane forever.

Transport to and from the base camp
The above trek cost includes transport to and from base camp.
Safety equipment
First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders, stretchers, Walkie-Talkie etc. will be available at campsite.
Accommodation
Stay is included from Day 1 to Last Day. Tents/Homestays/lodges will be provided. Tripple sharing Accommodation and separate accommodation for girls/ladies will be provided
Meals
All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast at Last day are included. Veg food will be provided during the trek.
Permits/ Forest fees
UTT will arrange trekking permits and forest passes.
Experienced Trek Leader & Team
Qualified trek leaders haing in basic / advanced mountaineering courses certificates/ degrees will assist trek.
Other staff member includes qualified cooks, helpers and porters.

Exclusions


Food during transit to and from the base camp
Food would not be provided during transit and trekkers have to bear the cost at their own.
Mule and Porter charges
Generally we expect trekkers to carry their bag-pack and luggage themselves. For those who wish to use Mule/Porter need to pay Rs 350 per day for same.

Personal Expense of any kind. The trek cost does not include stay at any location on last day
