Mount Rudugaira Trek

Mount Rudugaira is not a common name in the trekking legends but it is regarded as a haven for adventure seekers, and expeditions to this peak are now widely available.The unfathomable rush of reaching the peak is what makes this mountain a favourite among climbers.Take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy an 11-day trip to the summit of Mount Rudugaira, which is located in the Garhwal region and is tucked away inside the Gangotri national park.The peak offers breathtaking views of the Gangotri massif, Thalaysagar, and Auden’s Col. It is located on the road between Gangotri and Kedarnath.

Itineary

Day 1: Dehradun to Uttarkashi

Enjoy the pleasant 7-hour trip to Uttarkashi along the Gangotri and Kedarnath valley.
The vistas today on the winding road from Dehradun to Sankri are breathtaking.
Breakfast & Lunch will be on the way.
Listen to the marvellous briefing given by a set of expert guides and start the breathtaking activity on day 2.
Stay in Tents/guest house.

Day 2: Trek from Uttarkashi to Gangotri

3048 M/10,000 ft. (98kms)
Wake up with the mesmerizing view of mountains.
After breakfast in the morning, get ready to move in the direction of Gangotri.
Gangotri is the road head for your expedition.
Arrive at your destination after a four-hour drive and check into your hotel.
Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 3: Trek from Gangotri – Nala Camp

8 km trek, 5 – 6 hrs trek
Wake up in the lapse of mountains and relish the morning breakfast.
Start your hike down the riverbank and keep going until you reach the Nala campground.
Keep the powerful Rudraprayag by your side the entire way. Also, take in the stunning Jogin and Kedartal mountains.
Enjoy the tented accommodation amidst perfect nature.

Day 4: Trek from Nala Camp to Rudugaira Base Camp

7 km -5 hrs trek
Wake up in the Morning followed by breakfast.
Set out to have a demanding day as you begin ascending the ridges.
Steeps to the reach the base camp of this trek.
Stay peacefully at the campsite in Rudugaira.
Dinner will be at the Campsite,Overnight stay in camps.

Day 5 : Day 5 t0 9 are reserved for climbing

Plan your adventure.
Spend the following five days ascending the multiple numerous load ferries.
The summit attempt would be done at night depending on the weather condition.

Day 9 : Base camp – Gangotri

After breakfast, quickly descend to Gangotri so that you can arrive there by afternoon.
Reach Gangotri by afternoon.
Share your experiences and tales in the evening.
After a successful but demanding expedition, unwind.
Dinner will be at the Campsite,Overnight stay in camps.

Day 10 : Gangoti to Dehradun

Wake up early to get the view at the last day in Mountains.
Have Breakfast at the campsite.
Drive down which drops you aroud 7:00PM at Dehradun.
At this moment, your amazing journey comes to an end, leaving you with some precious memories.

Day 1:- Dehradun To Uttarkashi

Day 2:- Uttarkashi to Gangotri (3048 m/ 10,000 ft) by road (98 kms).

Day 3:- Gangotri – Nala Camp (8 km trek, 5 – 6 hrs trek)

Day 4:- Nala Camp to Rudugaira Base Camp (7 km -5 hrs trek)

Day 5:- Day 5 t0 9 are reserved for climbing

Day 9:- Base camp – Gangotri

Day 10:- Gangoti to Dehradun

Inclusions

Transport to and from the base camp

The above trek cost includes transport to and from base camp.

Safety equipment

First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders, stretchers, Walkie-Talkie etc. will be available at campsite.

Accommodation

Stay is included from Day 1 to Last Day. Tents/Homestays/lodges will be provided. Tripple sharing Accommodation and separate accommodation for girls/ladies will be provided

Meals

All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast at Last day are included. Veg food will be provided during the trek.

Permits/ Forest fees

UTT will arrange trekking permits and forest passes.

Experienced Trek Leader & Team

Qualified trek leaders haing in basic / advanced mountaineering courses certificates/ degrees will assist trek.
Other staff member includes qualified cooks, helpers and porters.

Exclusions

Food during transit to and from the base camp

Food would not be provided during transit and trekkers have to bear the cost at their own.

Mule and Porter charges

Generally we expect trekkers to carry their bag-pack and luggage themselves. For those who wish to use Mule/Porter need to pay Rs 350 per day for same.

Personal Expense

Personal Expense of any kind. The trek cost does not include stay at any location on last day
