Om parvat trek

Om parwat trek

Om Parvat trek is located in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand and shares an eastern border with Nepal as well as the northern side of Tibet. Hindus revere Om Parvat and Adi Kailash as sacred sites. This location is regarded as one of Lord Shiva’s earliest abodes.Related to the legend of Ravana, the peak is considered sacred by many, and the Om Parvat trek leads to an astounding view of the giant and the miraculous impression of “OM” naturally formed with the deposition of snow against the black background of the mountain. The Adi Kailash Om Parvat trek from Kathgodam travels through numerous small towns and villages before arriving at the breathtaking vista of the Om Parvat, which is situated in the high Mountains of the Kumaon area of Uttarakhand.Rising to an altitude of 14816 ft, this peak is also referred to by several other names such as Adi Kailash, Chota Kailash, Baba Kailash, and Jonglingkong.
