Mukteshwar is situated on the high ridges in the central Himalayas around 7500 ft. high. During sunset and sun rise surrounding of camp blends perfectly with nature because the camp is surrounded by apple and peach orchards and situated between snow covered mountains. Apart from the above, there are many other specialties also like out in the jungles, blazing campfire, endless cups of tea, daydreaming and workshops based on forestry. You can reach Mukteshwar camp near Nainital is easily by any of vehicles like Cars, Jeep & Buses. There is a lot of space for parking your vehicle. It is around 51 km from Nainital. Haldwani is 72 km away & Delhi is 343 kms from Mukteshwar camp.

UTT will arrange trekking permits and forest passes.
