Kuti Village holds cultural significance as one of the last inhabited areas before the border with Tibet. The region is accessible via the Pithoragarh-Lipulekh Pass Highway (PLPH), offering a challenging but rewarding journey for those seeking adventure. This serene Himalayan hamlet is part of the Pithoragarh district, providing a glimpse into the unique lifestyle and traditions of the Byansi people. The valley is also known for its proximity to the Limpiyadhura Pass and Adi Kailash peak, adding an element of spirituality to its natural beauty.

How to Reach Kuti Village 

Kathgodam: If you prefer a shorter road journey, you can take a train or drive to Kathgodam, which is well-connected to Delhi. The road distance between Kathgodam and Dharchulla is approximately 225 kilometers, taking around 8-10 hours by car.

Pithoragarh to Dharchula:
From Pithoragarh, you can proceed to Dharchula, which is a town located on the border with Nepal.
Dharchula to Tawaghat:
Travel from Dharchula to Tawaghat, which is the last motorable point on this route.
Tawaghat to Kuti Village (Trek):
The trek to Kuti Village begins from Tawaghat. It’s a challenging trek, and you may need to hire a local guide familiar with the route.

The nearest railway station to Dharchula is Tanakpur Railway Station. located approximately 218 kilometers away. 

From Delhi: You can take a train from Delhi to Tanakpur. Several trains connect Delhi to Tanakpur, and the journey takes approximately 8-10 hours. Once you reach Tanakpur, you can continue your journey to Dharchula by road, either by hiring a taxi or taking a local bus.

From Kathgodam: Another option is to take a train from Kathgodam to Tanakpur, which is a shorter journey. Kathgodam is well-connected to Delhi by train, and the train ride from Kathgodam to Tanakpur takes around 3-4 hours. After reaching Tanakpur, follow the road route to Dharchula.
