Vasuki Tal via Tapovan is a trek with exceptional scenery where you camp at the base of huge Himalayan peaks like Mount Shivling and walk over miles of glaciers.The trek has the highest altitude of 4800 M at Vasuki Tal and is graded as moderate to challenging. This trek is very thrilling and unique from other treks because it requires traversing numerous glaciers and boulders.During the way, you may see breathtaking views of mountains like Shivling, Thalay Sagar, Meru, and Bhagirathi which are difficult for mountaineers to climb. The Vasuki Tal Trek route passes via Tapovan, a stunning alpine meadow with spiritual significance for Hindus, and Gaumukh, the source of the powerful river Ganga.Enjoy the mesmerizing view of the Bhagirathi group of peaks and then continue trekking to Gomukh (3890mt) where the water of Ganga trickles down.The best time to do Tapovan and Vasuki Tal is May – June, and September – October.

The only way to reach Gangotri is by road.Reaching Gangotri via Dehradun is the faster option (around 242 Kms). After reaching here, check into the Guest House/Hotel. Have some rest.

Stay is included from Day 1 to Last Day. Tents/Homestays/lodges will be provided. Tripple sharing Accommodation and separate accommodation for girls/ladies will be provided
Meals
All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast at Last day are included. Veg food will be provided during the trek.
Permits/ Forest fees
UTT will arrange trekking permits and forest passes.
