Itineary

Day 1 : Rishikesh - Sari Village - Trek to Devariyatal

  • Start your journey from Rishikesh.
  • Drive to Sari Village, which serves as the starting point of the trek.
  • Trek to Devariyatal, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by lush greenery and captivating views.
  • Set up camp near Devariyatal and spend the night amidst nature.

Day 2 : Devariyatal - Sari Village – Chopta

  • After enjoying the morning serenity at Devariyatal, trek back to Sari Village.
  • From Sari Village, proceed towards Chopta, the base for further treks.
  • Chopta is a scenic destination known for its breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere.
  • Spend the night camping or in accommodation at Chopta.

Day 3 : Chopta - Tungnath - Chandrashilla Peak – Chopta

  • Begin early and trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world.
  • Continue the trek to Chandrashilla Peak for panoramic views of the Himalayas.
  • Descend back to Chopta after soaking in the stunning vistas.
  • Rest and stay overnight in Chopta.

Day 4: Chopta to Devprayag - First day of Rafting till Kaudiyala

  • Leave Chopta and head towards Devprayag.
  • Devprayag is a confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, forming the Ganges.
  • Prepare for your first day of river rafting from Devprayag to Kaudiyala.
  • Raft through thrilling rapids and enjoy the scenic beauty along the way.
  • Camp at Kaudiyala for the night.

Day 5 : Kaudiyala - Rishikesh (36 kms rafting)

  • Continue your rafting adventure with a 36-kilometer stretch from Kaudiyala to Rishikesh.
  • Navigate through challenging rapids and enjoy the adrenaline rush.
  • Reach Rishikesh, where your rafting journey concludes.
  • You can spend the evening exploring Rishikesh, visiting temples, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.

Inclusions


Transport to and from the base camp
The above trek cost includes transport to and from base camp.
Safety equipment
First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders, stretchers, Walkie-Talkie etc. will be available at campsite.
Accommodation
Stay is included from Day 1 to Last Day. Tents/Homestays/lodges will be provided. Tripple sharing Accommodation and separate accommodation for girls/ladies will be provided
Meals
All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast at Last day are included. Veg food will be provided during the trek.
Permits/ Forest fees
UTT will arrange trekking permits and forest passes.
Experienced Trek Leader & Team
Qualified trek leaders haing in basic / advanced mountaineering courses certificates/ degrees will assist trek.
Other staff member includes qualified cooks, helpers and porters.

Exclusions


Food during transit to and from the base camp
Food would not be provided during transit and trekkers have to bear the cost at their own.
Mule and Porter charges
Generally we expect trekkers to carry their bag-pack and luggage themselves. For those who wish to use Mule/Porter need to pay Rs 350 per day for same.
Personal Expense
Personal Expense of any kind. The trek cost does not include stay at any location on last day
