The Ruinsara Tal is a special glacial lake resting amidst beautiful mountain ranges of Swargarohini. The meadows around are neat and untouched. One can experience a sense of tranquility all around the lakeside.At a height of 3500 metres and about 14 kilometres from Osla/Seema, the lake Ruinsara Tal is situated at the base of Mount Kalanag.Ruinsara Tal is another attractive place for trekkers in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The Har-Ki-Doon Valley’s residents revere the lake, which is flanked by low-lying Rhododendrons and Alpine Pastures.The lake is near the source of Supin river. From here, one can see Mount Kalanag, the Ruinsar range, BandarPoonch, and the magnificent Swargarohini peaks up close.The lake is near the source of Supin river.
