Itineary

Day 1 : Kathgodam To Pithoragarh (200 KMs / 7-8 Hrs) 1585 m

  • Pickup from Kathgodam railway station/airport in the morning.
  • Drive to Pithoragarh through Almora via Jageshwar Dham (one of the 12 Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva).
  • The route offers stunning views of lush valleys, rivers, and pine forests.
  • On arrival at Pithoragarh, check-in to hotel, dinner and overnight stay at a standard hotel (twin/triple sharing basis).

Day 2 : Pithoragarh To Gunji/Nabi via Dharchula (170 KMs / 7-8 Hrs) 3200 m

  • After breakfast, depart for Dharchula, a border town on the banks of River Kali.
  • At Dharchula, complete medical check-up and inner line permit formalities (mandatory for all yatris).
  • After permits, continue drive towards Gunji/Nabi, passing through rugged Himalayan terrain.
  • Overnight stay at rest house/tents with basic facilities in Gunji/Nabi.

Day 3 : Gunji/Nabi To Nabidhang (Om Parvat Darshan) and back (25 KMs one way / 2-3 Hrs) 4300 m

  • Early morning drive to Nabidhang, a high-altitude pass at 4300 m.
  • Here you will witness the mystical Om Parvat, where snow naturally forms the sacred symbol ॐ (Om).
  • This is one of the rarest and most divine sights in the Himalayas.
  • Perform darshan/meditation and return back to Gunji/Nabi.
  • Overnight stay at Gunji/Nabi.

Day 4 : Gunji/Nabi To Jolingkong - Parvati Kund - Gauri Kund and back (20-25 KMs one way / 2-3 Hrs) 4420 m

  • After breakfast, drive towards Kuti village, believed to be connected with the Pandavas.
  • Continue to Jolingkong at an altitude of 4420 m, base for Adi Kailash Darshan.
  • From here, trek 1 km to Parvati Kund, a sacred lake reflecting Himalayan peaks.
  • Visit Bheem Ki Kheti, legendary farmland associated with Pandavas.
  • Further trek 2 km to Gauri Kund, another holy water body near Adi Kailash.
  • Return back to Gunji/Nabi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 : Gunji/Nabi To Chaukori (180 KMs / 7-8 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, depart from Gunji/Nabi.
  • Drive towards Chaukori, famous for tea gardens and panoramic views of Panchachuli Peaks.
  • Enjoy sunset over the Himalayan ranges.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Chaukori.

Day 6 : Chaukori To Kathgodam via Patal Bhuvaneshwar (200 KMs / 7-8 Hrs)

  • After breakfast, drive to Patal Bhuvaneshwar Cave Temple (mentioned in Skanda Purana).
  • Inside the limestone cave, stalactites and stalagmites form shapes linked to mythological legends like Sheshnag and Shiva-Parvati.
  • Continue drive to Kathgodam for onward journey.
  • Tour ends with blessings of Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Yatra.

Transport to and from the base camp
The above trek cost includes transport to and from base camp.
Safety equipment
First aid, medical kit, oxygen cylinders, stretchers, Walkie-Talkie etc. will be available at campsite.
Accommodation
Stay is included from Day 1 to Last Day. Tents/Homestays/lodges will be provided. Tripple sharing Accommodation and separate accommodation for girls/ladies will be provided
Meals
All meals from dinner on Day 1 to breakfast at Last day are included. Veg food will be provided during the trek.
Permits/ Forest fees
UTT will arrange trekking permits and forest passes.
Experienced Trek Leader & Team
Qualified trek leaders haing in basic / advanced mountaineering courses certificates/ degrees will assist trek.
Other staff member includes qualified cooks, helpers and porters.

Exclusions


Food during transit to and from the base camp
Food would not be provided during transit and trekkers have to bear the cost at their own.
Mule and Porter charges
Generally we expect trekkers to carry their bag-pack and luggage themselves. For those who wish to use Mule/Porter need to pay Rs 350 per day for same.
Personal Expense
Personal Expense of any kind. The trek cost does not include stay at any location on last day
