Jageshwar Yog Festival
It is for the first time that the state government is holding international yoga festival at Almora for two days on November 5 and 6. Rishikesh-based Parmarth Niketan is collaborating with the state government for the festival.
The Government of Uttarakhand and Parmarth Niketan (Rishikesh) are jointly organizing the first ever Jageshwar Yoga Festival from the 5-6th November. In the picturesque, sacred land of Jageshwar, one of the most holy and ancient temples of the Himalayas, a special Jageshwar Yoga Festival will bring together Yogis from across India and across the world. The programme will include asanas, pranayama, meditation, divine discourses by yoga masters, cultural programmes, sacred fire ceremonies (yagna/havan), divine lighting ceremonies (aarti), nature walks and much more.
