Mythological Sagas and Folk Stories:- goddesses Parvati, Lakshmi, and Saraswati decided to test the strength of their husbands, who were Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. They sent them to Devi Anusuya’s ashram. When the divine trio arrived, Anusuya warmly welcomed them and offered food. However, the gods posed a unique condition—they would accept the food only if Anusuya served it without wearing clothes.
Feeling uneasy, Anusuya prayed for guidance. She realized the gods were testing her and cleverly agreed to their condition, but on the condition that they take the form of her sons. The gods agreed, and she served them as her sons. Subsequently, the gods continued to reside at the ashram in the guise of her sons.
When the goddesses found out and apologized, Anusuya graciously returned their husbands. Since then, this sacred place has been known in honor of Ma Sati.
